1. Go strawberry & blueberry picking. Make muffins and other cobbler-esque goods. {9/8 update: Picked gorgeous strawbs at Finke’s Berry Farm in July. Nom, nom.}
2. Kayak on Lake Superior. {9/8 update: So, went canoeing on an inlet of Lake Superior with friends and got lodged in a mud swamp. Actually, buckets of fun.}
3. Grow my own basil, cilantro and mint. Make some epic meals with said herbs. {6/27 update: Made so far: Baked buffalo chicken penne pasta with fresh cilantro. Lots of awesome tomato-ey basil things. Still hoping to make blackberry mint lemonade & fresh Vietnamese spring rolls with mint and cilantro.}
4. Eat brunch at Lake Avenue Café. I hear it’s to die for. {6/27 update: Had lunch. Tasty!}
5. Go camping on Madeline Island, Wisconsin in marvelous company. {9/8: Island life = love.}
6. Bike more. Drive less. {6/27 update: Success! My calves are loving it – I think…}
7. Take at least one full day off each week. Maybe two. {6/27 update: Doing surprisingly well…I still have openings for sessions though, so book soon!}
8. Find good homes for my giant framed photos. {9/8 update: Had a booth at Twin Ports Bridge Fest in July (see below) and at the Wine Meets Art Festival at Saint Croix Vineyards in August.}
9. Support an awesome cause, participate in my first art fair, and see Michael Franti in concert at Twin Ports Bridge Fest in Duluth on July 9. {6/27 update: SUPER busy this week preparing!}
10. Eat ice cream. In moderation. Maybe. {6/27 update: Two words: Talenti Gelato. Oh, drool.}
