Wednesday Wanderings: Big Apple of the Far East

Singapore.

Okay, so maybe it’s nothing like the Big Apple, but it certainly is a big, bustling, jungle-hot Asian hub city. Shimmering panes of glass and steel. Movement. Commerce. Growth. Innovation. Surprisingly lush and green. Hovering just a few miles north of the Equator, Singapore is the only metropolis in the world to not only survive the global recession, but to thrive in it. It’s 14 hours ahead of Minnesota, and years ahead of its time. Remember to click on each image for the full experience.
