A few weeks before their engagement session, Shannon & Brandon reached out with a few ideas. It went something like this: “Let us know if this is too dorky, but we’d like to finish our session by jumping off our dock.”

My immediate response was, of course, an arm-flailing happy dance. “Heck, yes!” I said.

So on that luminous June evening, we began with a forest frolic near Boulder Lake, then headed back to Shannon & Brandon’s for cocktails on the deck, adventures with their sweet, scruffy pup Atlas, and a plunge in the Lake. Now that’s my kinda summer evening!

Shannon & Brandon are among those golden-hearted, salt-of-the-earth folks I’m proud to call my clients (& friends!). Definitely the kind of souls you want to share a bonfire or pontoon seat with. Can’t wait for their gorgeous wedding on the big lake in October!
