Not every couple plans a large tux-and-gown celebration. Some prefer an intimate ceremony overlooking a quiet north woods lake; others prefer a brunch ceremony surrounded by select family members. Weddings come in all shapes & sizes. The common thread is commitment & celebration — the rest is up to you! I discover vast beauty in simplicity, so elopements speak straight to my heart. Each year, I leave a few openings in my calendar for elopements.
As an established boutique photographer, I work with a limited number of couples each year. Although many wedding days include all-day coverage (from getting ready through the first dance), I do keep breathing room in my schedule so I can say “yes!” to those last-minute intimate weddings. Additionally, I often travel for weddings. Are you stealing away to the Canadian border? I’m there. Heading out west to elope in the mountains? Heck yes! I am one savvy traveler. My current passport & I are always ready to venture wherever you go!
So if your preferred getaway vehicle is a canoe, I’d love to connect. Would you rather steal away to a private north woods island in lieu of a ballroom wedding? We should probably be friends. And if you’re saying “Can I get a witness?” (in Marvin Gaye style of course), know that I often serve as a wedding witness when family or friends are absent. I’ve signed a few marriage certificates, and it’s always an honor.
Are you planning a an intimate wedding? Whether your date is tomorrow or in a few months, be sure to say hello & request details. I can’t wait to connect!
