Early this month, Kristin & Matt spent a long weekend on Minnesota’s North Shore in this insanely awesome rental cabin on Lake Superior. Their getaway was two-fold: Four-year anniversary retreat meets babymoon! I love serving couples beyond the wedding day, and that includes anniversaries, baby bumps, and the sweet in-between. Let’s forget the big milestones for a minute. While those undoubtedly matter, it’s the seemingly normal everyday that I thrive documenting. Whether it’s just the two of you, your furry family members, a growing baby bump, or an epic beer belly: I am so there!

My time with K&M included all of my favorite things: Lake Superior, flannel, bonfires, comfy couches, and dogs. Kristin & Matt also sent me home with beer, which is basically my love language (and not the first time it’s happened this season…it’s become a running joke in our household, because I’m starting to come home with beer more often than my brewery-working husband!).
