The Bent Paddle taproom is kind of a big deal for Margie & Steve. It’s been a go-to gathering point for their circle of Duluth pals, a place to plan & dream their latest local activism project, and above all, it served as the backdrop for their own wedding reception!

When Margie & Steve heard the news that Bent Paddle’s original taproom is closing soon, they wanted to celebrate over a couple of pints, and I snuck along for the ride.

But don’t fret! There’s a bigger, better taproom on the horizon! Bid adieu to the original taproom this Sunday, April 8th at the Bent Paddle Taproom Farewell Night, then check out the incredible new space at next week’s Grand Opening on Thursday, April 12th. Cheers!
