When you’re on the rollercoaster of dream-chasing and dog hair sweeping and the other daily so-and-so’s, it’s easy to forget how far you’ve come.

As someone who naturally looks to the future, birthdays are that perfect kick-in-the-booty, encouraging me to slow-the-hail-down-girl and recognize how far I’ve come.

This year, I’m on a mission to savor instead of strive, and encourage you to do the same: We’re a society of go-go-go-ers, but if we keep this pace, we’ll miss the whole show.

Cedar Bound, our new business adventure, is coming to life!

In case you missed it, my husband Hutch & I are starting a luxury glamping retreat in Northern Minnesota! What started as a tiny seed of an idea now has a life of its own: We are SO EXCITED to see Cedar Bound become a reality this summer!

I am so. dang. energized by creative entrepreneurs, and love helping fellow big-dreamers see the forest through the trees so they can make BIG things happen! Holy cow! I am so grateful for all the incredible women who’ve entrusted me with their boudoir experience. Boudoir feels like second nature to me, and I sometimes forget about the butterflies my clients may feel before their session — thankfully, we’ve got the magic combo of mimosas + dad jokes to melt away those jitters within minutes! Weddings, Elopements, and Couple Sessions:

Although I’ve personally scaled back on weddings this year, I’m now booking a select number of adventurous elopements + couple sessions. Summer Mini Sessions:

Fresh 48 Newborn Sessions:

Chelsea is rocking her newborn sessions and I am so dang proud of her! I had never offered Newborn Sessions before, and it’s been so fun watching Chelsea shine & serve her amazing clients. Check out her gorgeous newborn work here!

I foresee a mountain of nachos, beer, patio time, and awesome humans in my very-near-future.
