It was freshman year at Michigan Tech. She was the cute neighbor girl down the hall who just wanted to be friends. He was twitterpated, but happy to build a friendship. When school let out the following spring, their connection didn’t stop there. Early in the summer, he made a spontaneous day trip to her hometown, and they Skyped almost daily. The following fall, on the eve of Halloween festivities, they went on their first date. They say the rest is history, and as it turns out, also their future: Last Friday, they started the next chapter of their adventure in a Duluth wedding venue that’s dear to my heart, Greysolon Ballroom!

Lauren & Josh are two peas in a pod, with a shared sweet silliness, yet they are both such distinct individuals, which is what I love about them! Cheers to their family & friends, who welcomed us into their day with open arms (literally, bear hugs). We couldn’t stop laughing with their wedding party – see evidence below!
