Heart Dog Sessions
You’re obsessed. They’re obsessed. Let’s capture it.
It’s never long enough.
We know this going into the journey: They won’t live forever.
And yet somehow, between the walks, the muddy paws, shredded tennis balls, and daily routines, it feels like they'll always be here.
So we put it off.
“We'll schedule photos next year.”
“We'll book a session when life calms down.”
“We'll do it once they finally stop losing their minds every time they see a squirrel.”
But here's the thing…
You don't need a reason.
Your dog doesn't need to be in their golden years.
They don't need perfect manners.
If they're your heart dog, that's reason enough.
A few years ago, I lost my two dogs unexpectedly — less than two years apart.
One day, we were romping through the woods. The next, we were making impossible decisions at the emergency vet.
It all happened so fast.
And while this is part of why I created these sessions, Heart Dog Sessions aren't about saying goodbye.
They're about celebrating the dog who's currently stealing your spot on the couch.
The one who insists on carrying a stick 3x their size.
The one who greets you like you've returned from war after a 20-minute Target run.
The one whose photos take up 90% of your camera roll.
The one who has your whole heart. 🤍
Because someday you'll wish you had more photos of this season—not just the big moments, but the everyday stuff, too.
What to expect
We'll hang out somewhere your dog loves.
Your home. Your backyard. A favorite trail. The beach. The park where they know exactly which tree has the best smells.
No matching outfits or perfect poses required.
Instead, we'll focus on connection, personality, and all the little things that make your dog who they are:
The zoomies.
The head tilts.
The gray whiskers.
The slobbery tennis ball they refuse to part with.
The way they look at you when they think nobody's watching.
That's the good stuff.

FAQ
-
Friend, I've got you.
I've spent years fostering, raising, and photographing dogs of all ages, breeds, and personalities. Shy dogs. Reactive dogs. Velcro dogs. Chaos goblins.
Your dog does not need to sit perfectly and stare at the camera.
In fact, some of my favorite images happen when they're simply being themselves!
-
Always.
I'll have some on hand, but if your dog has food sensitivities or a favorite snack, feel free bring your own. In my line of work, snack bribes are a completely acceptable strategy. 😜
And favorite toys often become some of the sweetest details to capture. Whether it's a beat-up tennis ball, a beloved stuffie, or a frisbee that's seen better days, bring it along.
-
If we're in a public space and your dog needs to stay leashed, that's no problem at all. I can remove leashes from many images during the editing process.
-
Yes, absolutely. When you book, you’ll have the opportunity to order & save on professional-grade prints and keepsake books. You can also order these items after your session.
