When I first start chatting with a couple, I always ask: “What’s your ideal day off together?”

For Jessica & Jason, the response went something like this:

1.) Get coffee.
2.) Road trip to Duluth.
3.) Breakfast at Amazing Grace.
4.) Hit an antique store.
5.) Continue the drive to Gooseberry Falls.
6.) Return to Duluth for dinner at Va Bene.
7.) Take a stroll on the boardwalk.
8.) Finish the evening with a cocktail on the shores of Lake Superior.

So, my heart made happy-swoopy motions when I read this. Perhaps it’s because this describes (practically to a T), an ideal day with my own husband. At this point, I knew we had to meet for coffee & get to know one another!

Jessica & Jason are two hearts-of-gold, meant-for-each-other best friends. With Duluth holding its place firmly in their hearts, it became the obvious choice for their wedding locale next June.

In addition to being two of the funniest, friendliest folks, they’re also humble foodies. Read: Their catering menu will have guests swooning in culinary delight.

They are, in one self-described word, a-dork-able.

My favorite part of their engagement session? The way Jason makes Jessica laugh, and vice versa. I dare you not to fall in love with this sweet, sweet pair…
