I’m not sure how I get so lucky with my couples. Danielle & Tim are two seriously giant-hearted, generous souls. After our first effortless chat sitting on the lawn of my favorite coffee shop, it was clear we were a happy match.
After ten years of togetherness, they chose the North Shore for their wedding backdrop. Needless to say, their sunny August day was Duluth perfection! And even though we got double-bridged en route to the ceremony (and nearly missed the start!), their feathers remained unruffled. (Oh, and for you non-Duluthians, getting “double-bridged” is when you are stuck on one side of the Aerial Lift Bridge for not one, but two ore boats.)
From Danielle’s beaded satin gown (handmade by her mom!) to the custom illustrated wolf invitations, their details were not only lovely, but also meaningful to them as a couple. Yes, their details were beyond divine. But apart from beautiful, meaningful details, their giant hearts were central to the day. I’ve never heard such loud, resounding cheers from the crowd during the first kiss or the Grand Entrance. Danielle & Tim, you are loved HUGELY. It was an honor to witness & capture.
